Allergist will take the history of the family allergy or any other type of fruit allergy, and then he will perform a skin prick test, to see the presence of allergen-specific immunoglobulin. The most common treatment of the fruit allergy is the avoidance of that fruit which causes allergic reactions.

Almonds are also used in baking goods and salads. For this reason people who are allergic to them should have to avoid these types of products.

Some people who develop anaphylactic shocks should have been treated with an auto-injector of epinephrine.

Antihistamines are also used to reduce the allergic inflammation.

For respiratory disorders, bronchodilators are used.
